WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades can give you boost in certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of the item by +3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.
The more modernized gear generally has a more value in trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variation (like eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect version.
Recycle Points
The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enhancements.
You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks, to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.
The cost of upgrading will vary based on the current level of the item being upgraded, but will always be cheaper than purchasing new equipment from other sources. For instance, upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points while buying a similar item from another player will costs 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players from item upgraders NPCs in a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be applied to any tool, weapon, or armor. The button will display a preview of an item's next level of upgrade, when there are enough materials.
Upgrade costs vary depending on the slot for the item and the current item level. For instance weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a variety of crests, with certain upgrades having a discount to lower the cost of the Flightstones or the crests used. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain level and is degraded, it can be sold and sold back to the upgrader for a lower amount of the two currency types.
Item upgraders can be found at many locations on the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer an upgrade coupon and the possibility of obtaining a new recipe. The discount on upgrades increases with the number of items being upgraded, and can be increased by requiring players to complete specific achievements or quests.

Crests
Players have a number of options when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are an item that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specialized, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system, which was introduced in 10.1, and come in 4 ranks.
First, you should know that the crests can only be purchased for equipment that is with a certain rank. Each rank comes with distinct upgrade paths. upgrade item and easiest upgrade costs 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade can require up to 20 crests, based on the type of gear that is being upgraded.
Players can earn crests by working through content that is of the appropriate level, whether that involves walking around and performing outdoor activities to get lower-tier gear, raids or dungeons of all difficulties for higher-tier items or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses and dungeons for gear that is used in the endgame. These crests can be exchanged with an upgrader for the item such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken for the appropriate upgrade steps and paths.
The new currency system isn't difficult to use, however it will bring some changes to the upgrade process. For instance, when an item is at the highest level of upgrading for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it will no longer require Flightstones to be upgraded. This allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest possible ilvl on all of their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.
Another notable change is that crests only have one purpose and it's crucial to make use of them in a responsible manner. It's best to use your Whelpling-rank crests on the best gear you can locate, and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next set of upgrades. This is especially true for items like rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character, which will only be able to benefit from the discount for all accounts when all of the slots are full of high-quality equipment.
