World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Upgrades to items are an essential aspect of preparing your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and enchantments of items.
They also offer rewards and upgrades. They are available from the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is available on any item. Every item recycled adds a level to the gauge of upgrade.
Weapon
When an item is upgraded, it is granted a base damage bonus and a scaling factor that can affect other stats. The weapon could also gain a number of upgrade components that offer additional attributes or effects as well as distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools. Most require that the equipment have an upgrade slot available and meet certain specifications. If a weapon piece has an upgrade component in it, it can be replaced with another but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered by using the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool that is attached to an item.
In addition to the standard upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded with an attribute called Calibration that increases certain stats like Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is done via the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Depending on the weapon tier it can be done up to four times.
After the weapon has reached its maximum upgrade, it can then be reforged to add different bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. Many of these upgrades can be applied at once, and their effects are based on the nature of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the kind of damage a weapon deals.
It is generally recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, then armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading other gear. This helps maximize DPS. This is particularly true for enchantments that can increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players enhance the effectiveness of specific weapons, armors trinkets and gathering tools. item upgrade can also bring additional effects, like additional damage or an enhancement to the appearance of. Item upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, loot drop or as rewards for quests.
The upgrade of armor can be done by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currencies. The majority of armor upgrades to the next level after an upgrade. Most types of armor can be upgraded, but certain items (such as the starter armour found in Great Sky Island) cannot.

Based on the type of armor, upgrading an item can require multiple tries. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor that has the defense base ranging from 59 to 67. The second attempt would result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor with the base defense of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this players must visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations contains a fair with a great power that can improve a piece of armor for you.
Contrary to what many believe it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. Certain armors provide a significant boost in the reduction of damage from poison or curse, magic or fire. This makes them valuable for certain types of builds. Additionally, there are ways to boost armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait that increases armor penetration or the challenger trait to reduce total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by putting it in an brewing stand in order to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks another effect tier, and can be re-used to unlock more potencies.
The potion also gains an individual color code, which the player can select via /give, and that affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.

It doesn't affect glyphs, enchantments or cursed weapons or armor, or items that are produced to solve danger rooms.
This item, which looks like a eyes of a nymph appears to alter your vision in a manner that goes beyond simply reducing your field-of-view. This trinket, at the moment level, boosts the health benefits gained from drinking healing potions and wells of life by X% and grants mind sight on enemies within the Y tile. This trinket cannot be combined with the Increased Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave After completing the Mastery Cave, you will be able to find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside chests and crates within Skull Cavern. They cannot be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket in the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will have an effect on the trinket that is random that will either enhance or intensify its effects. You can reorge the Trinket multiple times as often as you like, but it will always have an effect that is different from the one you had when you made it.
You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. This will cost 6 energy, but will increase the power of the trinket by a tiny amount.
